I am a serious writer in need of a serious but fun critique group. I love to critique and I am in need of critiquers. I would like to open the group up to writing exercises, talking about writing, help brainstorming ideas or bouncing off ideas, and just to be surrounded by those who enjoy the torture and pleasure of writing as much as I do.

This group is designed for anyone interested in the art of writing. If you enjoy writing and want to meet like minded individuals willing to read and critique your work, then this is the meet-up for you. The purpose, of course, is to become a better writer and help others to do the same.

The Louisville Writer's Workshop is a group for writers of all levels from any genre. This is a place for writers in the community to come together to critique each other's work and participate in discussions of all things writing, from generating ideas to plot, structure and character development to publishing. This group is for readers and writers of science fiction, fantasy, and horror in any media: prose, film, or comics. Our aim is to facilitate discussion on the art and craft of storytelling, both modern and ancient. Monthly topics will be provided, guided by current discussions and group requests. Writers are encouraged attend, though if you are a reader/consumer of entertainment, you will enjoy the discussions as well.
