An ongoing group of writers that meets every Monday night at a restaurant in White Plains. Two people submit every week and the group reviews their work and discusses it at the meeting. Meetings are usually two hours. A writer will on average submit once a month. Before being admitted to the group, we require a writing sample. Any representative work will be fine.  It doesn't have to be long.

This group is aimed at writers in Suffolk County who are looking for a group to work on their current projects and work toward publishing. The Stratford Scribes is a group of Fairfield County writers serious about the creation and publication of their craft. The group meets in Stratford, Ct. and owes a philosophical debt to Roberto Calas for both the tone and format of the meetup. Writers mostly write. Besides writing, the second most important act is submitting.
