Finish Writing Your Book was started by Carlos. I accepted the title of organizer because I am a novice writer and I recognize the need for a support system. The purpose of this writing group is to gather for motivation and inspiration, enhance our writing skills, and challenge ourselves to move in new directions. Novice and unpublished writers 21 and over are welcome.

Available works to be critiqued and shared will fit in the genres including, but not limited to: poetry, short fiction, play writing, screen writing, prose essay writing and journalistic works. I recently watched the film version of Pride and Prejudice, and enjoyed it so much I started re-reading the book and watching other Austen movies, including Sense and Sensibility and the recent "The Jane Austen Book Club." I thought it might be fun to join up with other Austen fans in Jax, and perhaps structure a Book Club similar to the one in the film.
