I decided to start this group because I want to meet fellow aspiring writers looking for a circle of support, a safe place to share their writing and try out their works of memoir, novel, fiction, etc. to a supportive audience who can provide constructive feedback. Any aspiring writers in the D.C. area are welcome to join.

The purpose of the group is for local writers to be able to gather and receive constructive criticism of their writing. Are you committed to writing? We are looking for serious wordsmiths to join our critique group located in Montgomery County, Maryland. We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 7pm in Olney, MD, at the Harris Teeter. Our meetings are about two hours in length. We have writers of different experience levels working in speculative, young adult, and dark fiction. We try to include a writing prompt at the end of every meeting.
