We are a friendly welcoming group of writers of all levels that gets together weekly to discuss works in progress, write and provide constructive feedback. While this group has some experienced writers, it is alsois perfect for people who arejust beginning or exploring writing.

Welcome! This group is for anyone interested in improving their writing. We'll meet weekly to read over and edit each others' writing pieces. Over the long-term I'd like the group to be a resource for writers of any kind. I'd like us to be able to share tips, books, and strategies. My goal is that each one of us contributes to improving each others' writing. Join us!

The group meets at different south metro locations, and is a combination of group discussion on themes of the craft, writing exercises, sharing of current projects, and writing time. If you are looking for a diverse crowd to help strengthen your writing skills through discussion, to receive peer feedback, share your works-in-progress, and to get some writing done, this is the place for you. All ages, styles, and skill-levels are welcome.

Mission: Ideally, we’d like 6-8 regular attendees to monthly contribute 8-12 pages (double-space, 12 pt font) of commercial fiction*. Format: workshopping. Intention: Everybody ‘gets time’. Whether you're a bona fide fledgling adult or a tried-and-true young adult at heart, you are welcome to this writing/reading/all-around literary meetup in the Twin Cities. Based upon the interests of group members, we will tailor our meetings to reading, creative writing, or a mixture of both. All genres, not just Young Adult, will be appreciated here. The Hub is a community based organization that draws attention, support, and opportunities for writers, artists, and readers living south of the Twin Cities.
